An online medication program is more than its enrollment form. Someone must review the medical history, order and interpret laboratory tests, decide whether to prescribe, fill the prescription and respond when a delivery or treatment question arises. Enhance.MD packages these steps under one brand, advertising compounded semaglutide, tirzepatide and a combination of both. Its public documentation provides useful detail about the intended care pathway, but the brand is not itself the medical practice or pharmacy. Understanding those separate responsibilities is the starting point for evaluating the service.
This review follows that pathway using public pages consulted October 19, 2026. Enhance.MD describes a free intake, identity verification, laboratory testing, a video consultation and medication delivery for eligible patients, followed by continuing support. However, different pages present different onboarding sequences, pharmacy partners and renewal intervals. The practical question is not simply whether services are advertised as included, but which organization performs each step, when payment occurs and what happens if care cannot proceed. Our guide to the care journey explains the broader handoffs; below, the focus is Enhance.MD’s documented arrangements.
At a glance
- Platform versus medical practice
- Enhance.MD LLC describes itself as an administrative platform, not a medical or pharmacy service. Payment does not guarantee prescribing or dispensing.Sources: [7]
- Laboratory pathway
- The process page describes baseline testing at Quest Diagnostics before consultation; the FAQ says results generally reach Enhance.MD in approximately one to two business days after the lab visit.
- Medication and supplies
- Core, Advanced and Elite subscriptions advertise four weeks of medication, ongoing care, six-monthly metabolic testing, supplies, coaching and educational access.
- Pharmacy choice changes payment
- The FAQ allows prescriptions to go to a patient-selected pharmacy, but says medication costs will then be billed directly to the patient.Sources: [8]
Identify the organization responsible for your care
Enhance.MD LLC says it provides patient-management, administrative and operational support to professionals employed by Enhance Wellness PC and iThriveMD PC. It explicitly says it does not provide medical or pharmacy services, employ healthcare providers or influence clinical decisions. The terms additionally name EnhanceMD CA, PC among the medical groups. That difference does not establish a problem with an individual consultation, but it makes the identity of the practice handling a particular patient worth confirming before enrollment.
The FAQ describes the clinical team as exclusively U.S.-licensed physicians and nurse practitioners. This is a provider statement, not an independent credential or licensing verification. A patient should know the treating professional’s name, credential and medical group, rather than assuming every encounter is with a physician. Our explanation of clinician and platform responsibilities provides context for why the distinction matters when asking about prescriptions, records or clinical concerns.
The platform also states that payment does not guarantee prescribing or dispensing. Administrative acceptance, clinical approval and pharmacy fulfillment are therefore separate milestones. Before paying, ask which organization answers enrollment questions, which practice handles treatment decisions and which pharmacy resolves medication concerns. Enhance.MD’s documents describe these roles broadly, but do not establish one identical practice-and-pharmacy pairing for every product, patient or state.
Check access before completing the intake
The terms restrict access to adults 18 or older located in states where services are available. Although the FAQ says Enhance.MD is licensed in all 50 states, its advertised availability list is narrower and subject to product availability: AK, AZ, CA, CO, CT, DC, DE, FL, IA, ID, IL, IN, KS, KY, MA, MD, ME, MI, MN, MT, NC, NE, NH, NJ, NM, NV, NY, OH, OK, OR, PA, RI, SD, TX, UT, VA, VT, WA, WI, WV and WY.
The FAQ publishes a minimum BMI of 25 for new GLP-1 patients and 20 for maintenance patients currently taking, or recently having taken, GLP-1 treatment. It also says the medical provider considers relevant history before deciding eligibility. Those are Enhance.MD’s advertised screening criteria, not a promise of a prescription or a substitute for individual assessment. NIDDK’s general adult pharmacotherapy thresholds are different; the clinic’s numerical screen should not be mistaken for a universal treatment standard.
The intake requests lifestyle and medical-history information and is described as free. Identity verification is a separate requirement: the FAQ requests a full-face photograph and a photograph of government-issued identification. An account can be created without completing verification, but healthcare services cannot proceed. This means account access alone does not show that onboarding is complete, that a clinician has reviewed the case or that medication has been authorized.
Trace payment, laboratory testing and the consultation
The FAQ places payment after the intake and before the virtual meeting. The more detailed process page says Enhance.MD arranges baseline blood testing at a nearby Quest Diagnostics facility after intake submission. Advertised tests include a comprehensive metabolic panel, thyroid-stimulating hormone, lipids and hemoglobin A1c. These descriptions establish that laboratory work is part of the intended pathway, but the pages do not present every onboarding step in a consistently ordered sequence.
According to the FAQ, laboratory results generally reach Enhance.MD approximately one to two business days after the scheduled lab visit and appear in the account dashboard. Once results arrive, the service sends an email directing the patient to schedule a video consultation. That estimate concerns receipt of laboratory results, not appointment availability, prescription approval or medication arrival. Patients should also distinguish the time needed to obtain a lab appointment from the time needed for results afterward.
Some marketing presentations simplify onboarding into three steps without showing laboratory testing, while the FAQ and process page describe labs before consultation. Ask which sequence applies to the selected product, when the first charge occurs and what remains outstanding after payment. Preparing medical history, current medicines and questions in advance can make the meeting more useful; our first-consultation preparation guide offers a framework without replacing the treating clinician’s assessment.
Confirm the actual formulation rather than the product tier
Core is marketed as injectable semaglutide, Advanced as compounded tirzepatide and Elite as an injectable combination of semaglutide and tirzepatide. The pages describe GLP-1 administration as subcutaneous injection. Enhance.MD positions the tiers around different goals and prior treatment experiences, including limited results or plateaus. Those are commercial descriptions, not evidence that one tier is appropriate for a particular reader or that the combination produces superior outcomes.
Core’s disclosure says its compounded formulation is not FDA approved, requires a prescription and demonstrated clinical need, and is compounded under federal Section 503A guidelines. That compliance statement comes from the provider. FDA explains that compounded preparations do not undergo its premarket review for safety, effectiveness and quality, and recommends them when an individual’s medical needs cannot be met by an approved drug. Nonapproval alone does not establish clinical inequivalence, nor does it verify this service’s products.
The catalog also includes tirzepatide microdosing and separate NAD+ offerings. The microdosing page acknowledges that fewer side effects are not guaranteed. NAD+ is advertised from $169 per month for subcutaneous injections, while other blocks describe sublingual wafers. Because NAD+ content appears interspersed with GLP-1 selections, confirm the exact item selected and whether anything is an add-on. Clinical trial findings about specific approved-drug study regimens do not establish outcomes for Enhance.MD’s formulations, combinations or microdosing program.
Separate the service package from its billing clock
Core, Advanced and Elite advertise four weeks of their respective medications, ongoing provider care, metabolic laboratory testing every six months, essential supplies, wellness coaching and educational platform access. Advanced specifically names syringes and alcohol pads. Core also lists free shipping. These inclusions explain the intended subscription package, but a plan labeled in months does not by itself establish how much medication ships at once or what minimum commitment applies.
The product pages pair monthly price labels with billing every 48, 24, 12 or 4 weeks. Four weeks is not a calendar month, and 48 weeks is not a full calendar year. The table preserves those pairings without calculating unconfirmed checkout totals. For Core, Advanced and Elite, the 12-, 6- and 3-month options advertise 15%, 10% and 5% discounts respectively, plus $100 off the first order; the one-month option advertises $50 off the first order.
The homepage advertises starting first-month amounts of $112 for Core, $180 for Advanced and $222 for Elite, followed by $212, $280 and $322 per month. Those subsequent figures match the product pages’ longest-plan rates, not their four-week options. The site’s same-price-at-every-dose promise does not erase differences between plan lengths. Confirm the amount collected initially, subsequent charge and applicable commitment at checkout rather than treating a monthly display as proof of monthly billing.
| Program and presentation | 12-, 6-, 3-month labeled plans | 1-month labeled plan |
|---|---|---|
| Core: compounded injectable semaglutide | $212 / $224 / $237 per month; billed every 48 / 24 / 12 weeks | $249 per month; billed every 4 weeks |
| Advanced: compounded injectable tirzepatide | $280 / $296 / $313 per month; billed every 48 / 24 / 12 weeks | $329 per month; billed every 4 weeks |
| Elite: injectable semaglutide + tirzepatide combination | $322 / $341 / $360 per month; billed every 48 / 24 / 12 weeks | $379 per month; billed every 4 weeks |
| Tirzepatide microdosing | $169 / $179 / $189 per month; billed every 48 / 24 / 12 weeks | Billing every 4 weeks shown; no unambiguous rate in that block |
Establish the pharmacy handoff and delivery expectations
The FAQ names Tru Meds Rx, Strive Pharmacy and Pharmacy Hub as fulfillment partners. The terms instead name Rite-Away Pharmacy, Vios Compounding Pharmacy, TruMedsRx and other licensed pharmacies. These lists overlap only partly, and the consulted documentation does not determine which pharmacy prepares and ships each product in each state. Ask for the dispensing pharmacy’s identity and contact information before relying on a general partner list as the answer for an individual prescription.
Medication must ship to a physical address, according to the FAQ. Core advertises delivery every four weeks, whereas the tirzepatide microdosing page describes delivery every 12 weeks with ongoing oversight. Neither schedule establishes a specific approval-to-dispatch or dispatch-to-arrival time. A recurring shipment cadence is not a delivery guarantee. The pharmacy handoff checklist can help distinguish the prescriber’s work from dispensing, shipment tracking and pharmacy-specific product questions.
The FAQ also permits sending a prescription to a pharmacy chosen by the patient, but says medication charges are then billed directly. Do not assume the bundled medication price carries over. For temperature concerns, the provider’s general shipping reassurance is not a substitute for product-specific guidance: FDA explicitly advises not using an injectable GLP-1 drug that arrives warm or insufficiently refrigerated, and contacting the provider or dispensing pharmacy to resolve the concern.
Define ongoing support before a problem arises
Enhance.MD’s private portal is described as a place to review laboratory results and treatment information and communicate with the care team. Product subscriptions advertise ongoing provider care, coaching and six-monthly metabolic testing. These are meaningful service categories, but the consulted pages do not establish a fixed follow-up appointment schedule, the format of each follow-up or a guaranteed clinical response time. Portal messaging access should not be read as a promise of immediate assessment.
The published general contact paths are 1-888-299-5088 and support@enhance.md. Listed hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. EDT, and Saturday and Sunday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. EDT. Those hours establish advertised support availability, not that a prescribing clinician answers every contact during them. Ask how administrative messages are separated from clinical questions and how a patient reaches the responsible medical group.
A useful follow-up discussion should address tolerance and response, not merely whether the next payment succeeds. NIDDK identifies side effects, health conditions, other medicines and costs as relevant to ongoing medication decisions. FDA has also reported measurement and administration errors involving compounded products. Enhance.MD patients should obtain clear instructions from their prescriber or pharmacist and know whom to contact for clarification; this review does not provide dosing or adjustment instructions.
Clarify renewal, payment and the exit pathway
The general FAQ says membership renews every 28 days and warns that pausing or canceling affects prescription refills. Product pages, however, offer longer billing intervals. The terms say subscriptions renew unless canceled before the next billing cycle and direct patients to checkout for full payment conditions. The documentation reviewed does not reconcile these clocks or establish long-plan upfront totals, prorated refunds, minimum commitments or cancellation penalties. Obtain those terms for the actual selection.
Services are cash-pay and not billable to federal or state healthcare programs such as Medicare or Medicaid. The FAQ accepts Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express, but excludes gift cards, preloaded credit cards and FSA/HSA cards. Private-insurance reimbursement arrangements are not established in the consulted material. These payment restrictions matter even when laboratory testing and medication are advertised as included: a package description does not establish insurance coverage or reimbursement.
The advertised refund guarantee covers 100% of the initial payment if onboarding determines that the patient is ineligible for the formulation. It is not a general results guarantee or a promise to refund unused treatment after cancellation. The FAQ says refund processing usually takes five to ten business days, which does not guarantee when funds reach a bank account. Because the complete linked shipping-and-returns policy and final checkout conditions were not available in this review, broader refund boundaries remain unresolved.
Questions & answers
Do I pay before speaking with an Enhance.MD clinician?
The FAQ describes payment after completing intake and before the virtual meeting. The intake itself is described as free. Other documentation places laboratory testing before consultation, so confirm the precise sequence for your product. Payment does not guarantee a prescription or dispensing. The onboarding ineligibility guarantee covers the initial payment, but should not be confused with an unrestricted refund policy.
Which laboratory does Enhance.MD use, and when can I book the consultation?
The process page names Quest Diagnostics for baseline testing. The FAQ estimates approximately one to two business days after the lab visit for results to reach Enhance.MD, followed by an email inviting consultation scheduling. That is not a guaranteed appointment or medication-arrival deadline. Ask about local lab access and current consultation availability before treating the estimate as a complete onboarding timeline.
Can I choose my own pharmacy?
Yes, the FAQ says a prescription can be sent to a pharmacy of your choice, but medication costs will then be billed directly to you. Confirm how that changes the subscription package before proceeding. For partner fulfillment, ask which pharmacy will handle your prescription: the FAQ and terms name different partner lists, and neither establishes a universal pharmacy assignment for every patient.
Is the lowest advertised Core price a four-week billing option?
Not on the product pricing grid. Core’s $212-per-month figure is attached to the plan labeled 12 months, billed every 48 weeks; the four-week billing option displays $249 per month. The homepage’s starting $112 first-month advertisement needs to be read alongside those plan conditions. Confirm the actual initial collection and renewal charge rather than assuming the lowest monthly figure describes a cancelable four-week plan.
How do I contact Enhance.MD after enrollment?
The service describes care-team communication through its private portal and publishes support@enhance.md and 1-888-299-5088. Advertised support hours include weekdays and weekends. The documentation does not specify a guaranteed clinical response time or a fixed follow-up visit schedule. Before starting, ask which channel reaches your prescriber, which handles shipments and billing, and how questions are routed outside the published support hours.
Does canceling guarantee a refund or stop every future refill immediately?
No general refund guarantee follows from cancellation. The terms require cancellation before the next billing cycle to avoid renewal, while the FAQ warns that pausing or canceling affects refills. The explicit refund promise concerns onboarding ineligibility and the initial payment. Ask for written confirmation of the cancellation’s effective date, remaining shipment status and any refund entitlement under the checkout terms for your chosen plan.
Our assessment
Enhance.MD documents a relatively comprehensive intended care package: baseline labs, video consultation, prescription-dependent fulfillment, supplies, recurring testing and continuing support. Its separation of administrative and clinical roles is explicit, and its onboarding ineligibility refund provides a defined protection. The weaker point is consistency across the handoffs. Medical-group and pharmacy lists differ, renewal descriptions do not fully align, and follow-up timing and shipment deadlines remain unspecified. Before enrolling, obtain the treating practice, dispensing pharmacy, exact formulation, initial charge, renewal schedule and cancellation terms for the selected plan. The documentation supports evaluating Enhance.MD as a coordinated telehealth subscription, but not assuming that every operational detail—or the suitability of its compounded treatment—has already been resolved.
